Description
English: This photo shows the painting on the easel on which it was painted at the time of completion in the Artist's Studio/Gallery. The photo was taken by the Artist - Thomas Pettit (TMP) prior to framing. The original photo was digitally edited and enlarged (resampled) by the Artist on 12-30-21.

"2-D 4th-D" is an acrylic, enamel, & latex on 35.5"h x 23.5"w x .025" hardboard. It is a stylized abstract artistic exploration of the spacetime continuum and an attempt to loosely illustrate string theory using a layman's automotive pinstriping brush and common spray can. This work had no prior brainstorming nor any foundational studies or sketches. It further had no base tracing and was painted completely freehand in a single 2 hour session. The original is currently framed by the Artist and hangs next to his primary computer desk.
